Simple steps on how to install the plugin

Please follow all the steps exactly as described to avoid errors if errors do occur, you can contact our support.

Step 1 - Installing the plugin

• Download EffectBoots after buying it and drag it to your plugin folder.

• Now restart or start your server.

• Now open the EffectBoots folder in your plugins folder and open the License.yml. Now read through the ToS and accept them with an “Agree”.

• Now you can restart the server, check in the console if everything could be started successfully.

Step 2 - (Optional) Use plugin on a legacy version (<1.12)

There are some items that have different names in the newer versions or do not exist in the old versions, so some items have to be replaced if they do not exist.

• Open all .yml files and check whether there is an item there.

• If there is an item that does not exist in your version, this will be displayed in game as a barrier.

• A list of all available items for your server version can be found here: https://helpch.at/docs/1.8.8/org/bukkit/Material.html (Replace the number 1.8.8 with your server version if it does not suit you)

• When you have replaced all items you can restart the server and all barrier items should now be items that you have entered in the config. If there are still barriers, you have entered an item that does not exist.
